Künstlerresidenz Lauscha

Four centuries of Lauscha glass have left their mark. Workshops and studios for glass eyes, Christmas tree decorations and handicraft and artistic glass design characterise the town, and the Museum of Glass Art, the Farbglashuette and the Berufsfachschule Glas are based in Lauscha. Glass artists or artists from other disciplines such as drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, graphic art, video, sound, photography, interdisciplinary art, etc. are welcome to apply. There are no limits in terms of art forms. We look forward to receiving a diverse range of applications.

During their one-month working stay, artists receive free accommodation, a €1,000 grant and a free studio in the house. Networking with regional artists is encouraged. At the end of the stay, a joint closing event is organised. In consultation with the Lauscha Glass Museum, exhibitions are also possible there.
