M.Paola Malavasi Lachner (aka Lola Malavasi) (San José, Costa Rica, 1987) is a cultural manager and curator, interested in the intersection between art and education, institutional critique, and the tensions between art and economy. She is currently one of three Co-directors in TEOR/éTica, an independent contemporary art space, located in San José, Costa Rica.

She is the curator and facilitator of Alter Academia, a residency program she started in 2016, focused on the formation of young artists from Costa Rica. She curated the exhibition Virginia Pérez-Ratton. Centroamérica: deseo de lugar (MUAC-UNAM, Mexico City, 2019) alongside Miguel A. López, a comprehensive review of the work of Pérez-Ratton, an important Costa Rican artist, agent, and curator. The exhibition was accompanied by a publication of the same name, edited by Lola and Miguel A. López.

BFA Art History and minor in Fashion (Summa Cum Laude), Savannah College of Art and Design, Georgia, USA, 2011. Currently studying a degree in Translation (Spanish-English) at the University of Science and Technology, San José, Costa Rica.
