The prize was donated by the Männche family in 2020 and is endowed with prize money of €3,000. It is aimed at professional artists from Europe with no age limit. The award is given for an artistic concept that deals thematically and spatially with the historic Protestant castle church in Rumpenheim Castle Park.
The aim of the prize is to showcase creative ideas and bring contemporary art to a wider audience in the region.
