Ländliche Begegnungen

Kunstverein Donnersberg e.V. awards this scholarship annually. It enables you to work far away from the hustle and bustle of the city in Obermoschel, the smallest town in the Palatinate, for 3 months in the attic apartment on the market square. The focus is on encounters with the country and its people. The scholarship is accompanied by the Kunstverein with studio visits and a final exhibition.

The spacious attic apartment offers enough space for all artistic techniques except sculpture. The apartment is not barrier-free. The steep stairs also limit the size of the works. A car is helpful, but not necessary. Scholarship holders will be supervised on site.

We advertise the scholarship every two years and then make a selection for the next two years. We publish in the usual media and on our website.
