Künstler:innenhaus Bremen Studios

The Künstler:innenhaus Bremen promotes the production, presentation and discussion of contemporary art and culture - in a regional to international context. We support professional artists with good infrastructure and affordable studios and expand their opportunities for networking and presentation. The Künstlerhaus Bremen is a place for encounter and exchange. Artists, creative businesses, associations and the gallery work together here in an interdisciplinary way. Under one roof, a gallery, 17 studios, a print and a wood workshop, studios for graphics, design, sound and film, the Bremen artists' associations (BBK and GEDOK) and a restaurant form a unique structure. The Künstler:innenhaus Bremen has 17 studios of various sizes, which are regularly put out to public tender and awarded to visual artists living in Bremen by an external jury for a period of up to 5 years (with the option of extension for a further 2 years). In this way, artists from Bremen are offered the opportunity to establish themselves in a professional and interdisciplinary environment at favourable rental conditions.
