No end to the road. Fellowship für urbane Digitalkultur

Do you see the digitalisation of the cultural scene as more than just a livestream from the theatre? Do you want to experiment with new media formats? Do you want to network with other artists and cultural producers? And to create spaces of experience for new digital forms of expression together with them?

Fellows will work and live together in a shared appartment for 4 persons (free accomodation). Co-working space in the same building provides as well shared as individual spaces and technical equipment to create, work and develop digital formats, arts and cultural events. Close cooperation with facilities of Kulturforum Witten, Cologne Game Lab and Universität Witten/Herdecke.

Digitallabor Saalbau is a highly equiped content studio for audio and video settings, VR and screening experience and is open to the Fellows for individual and collaborative productions. Further facilities of Kulturforum Witten i.e. Saalbau Witten, Haus Witten and several spaces in the City as stage, exhibition or community spaces. Close exchange with indepentend local art scene and cultural practioners.

Fellowship offers freedom of creating digital and urban art for one year without defined artistic outcome. Opportunity to develop artistic practice as self-driven process in collaboration with others. Network of cultural practioners and possibility of high-quality education and workshops (both as a group and as individual artist).
