The International Studio Programme is a platform for young artists from all over the world.
Participants are given the opportunity to develop and realise projects within a fixed period of time and to reflect on and consolidate their own artistic position within the Berlin art context. The work of Künstlerhaus Bethanien is characterised in particular by individual support and the networking of the scholarship holders with the Berlin art scene.
The artists supported within the framework of international scholarships receive a monthly financial allowance for the duration of their stay. In addition, the studio costs, a lump sum for material costs and the presentation of the final project are guaranteed. The duration of our guests' stay is usually 12 months. The projects of the scholarship holders are presented to the public in the exhibition rooms of the Künstlerhaus. Furthermore, there is the possibility of a project-related publication, for the production of which the Künstlerhaus makes its services available.
