Cultural Mobility Flows: Mobility Information Points at Work | 2025

On the Move has published the 2025 work report of the Mobility Information Points (MIPs). It summarizes the activities of the MIPs in the period from 1 January to 31 December 2025 and refers to two areas of their work: consultations (individual sessions in which MIPs advise artists or cultural actors) and events (usually workshops on specific topics related to cultural mobility). The data was collected by ten MIPs in Austria, Belgium, Czechia, France, Germany, Portugal, Slovenia, Sweden, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. It provides insight into recurring themes and mobility patterns in the cultural sector.

MIPs are organizations that support artists and cultural professionals with free information and advice on administrative issues related to cross-border mobility. The most important topics include visas, social security, taxes, and customs. All MIPs are members of On the Move.
