The video recordings from our recent seminar "Perspektivwechsel: Inklusion in der Bildenden Kunst" (Change in Perspective: Inclusion in the Visual Arts) are now available online.
The seminar explored issues of structural gatekeeping in arts education and artistic practice, with a focus on fostering greater inclusion within Germany’s artists’ organisations.
The event was organised by the British Council in collaboration with Deutscher Künstlerbund, IGBK and BBK Bundesverband, with expert guidance and moderation by Dr. Kate Brehme (Berlinklusion). It brought together cultural experts from Germany and the UK committed to sustainable change.
Drawing on best-practice examples, the seminar examined how more inclusive futures in the visual arts can be imagined and implemented across the German cultural sector.
You can read the program of the seminar here (PDF).
