Culterim Residencies

The Culterim Residencies Programme has been a cornerstone of Culterim since its inception. The aim of the residencies is to create spaces where artists from different backgrounds can meet both artistically and personally. In addition to communal areas, all residents have access to a private bedroom and a studio. Depending on the location, there may also be opportunities to use workshops. The programme includes a Studio Talk with the Gegen & Lücke gallery. The focus is on free artistic work, exchange and community. Through weekly artist talks and presentations, the moderated accompanying programme guides participants through the residency and creates an ongoing dialogue. In addition to communal areas, all residents have access to a private lounge and a studio. Depending on the residency, there may also be opportunities to use workshops. In order to facilitate the entire programme, a flat fee is charged depending on the residency. At the end of a residency programme, the resulting artworks are presented to the public in a group exhibition curated by Culterim.
