The IGBK provides the "Certificate for the Customs Authorities" for artists living in Germany.

It aims to facilitate the international free movement of works of art and basically refers to the following agreements: "The Florence Agreement" – The UNESCO Agreement on the Importation of Educational, Scientific and Cultural Materials (1950), the "Protocol of Nairobi" (1976) and "The Brussels Customs Convention" (1961).

The "Certificate for the Customs Authorities" is recommendatory only, but quite helpful for the purpose of importing works of art. Please contact us for further information.
