Through the residency projects, the Künstlerhaus im Schlossgarten intends to build a bridge between our guest artists and the people of the district and the city of Cuxhaven. One focus of the association is the promotion of young artists. Application in pairs - friends, couples, partners, colleagues - are preferred.
The association would like to support and accompany talented graduates of art colleges and academies at the beginning of their artistic careers.
Through contact with international artists, the association wants to contribute to the internationalisation of art in our region and promote a process of interdisciplinary exchange in the field of art.
