Lise Nellemann

"Sparwasser HQ" is a non-commercial artist run space which prides itself on being based on artistic collaboration and process-oriented participation in both theory and day-to-day practise. Since the beginning of the project in 2000, it has hosted more than 50 exhibitions. It is strongly linked to the Scandinavian art scene, while defining itself as part of an international, multilingual scene. With the aim of examining contemporary society and the conditions of artistic production by confronting various artistic and curatorial practises, art is considered an important form of alternative knowledge production.
