Berenika Partum is a cultural manager and curator based in Berlin. She is working on various projects in the cultural field, mainly focused on central and eastern Europe. For many years she worked on international contemporary art projects and exhibitions and has been an art critic and cultural journalist. In the last years, she curated different shows: Piotr Blajerski “The End”, Lettrétage Berlin, 2015, Polenbegeisterungswelle – Cultural Topographies of Polish Berlin, Kunstquartier Bethanien, Berlin 2017 (with Iwona Bigos and Jagna Anderson), with Karolina Majewska-Güde “Ewa Partum. My Gallery is an Idea. Galeria Adres Archive“ as the International Film Festival “Film as Idea, Film as Film, Film as Art” at Galeria Studio, Warsaw/Poland and Pavel Brăila “Undressing the Bride”, 2020 at Centrala, Birmingham (UK). She was one of the co-project leaders of the 2020 project "Art Space Connect", a collaboration between Centrala Berlin, GeoAIR Tbilisi and IGBK. Currently, she is working on her PhD thesis, The emergence of transnational art spaces in Central Europe, using the example of Artist-in-Residence Programmes.
