"Talents Contemporains - La Terre - Abbaye de Pontingny" Competition

Echoing the theme of Water developed in Wattwiller, the Fondation François Schneider addresses the theme of Earth in a new competition on the estate of the Abbaye de Pontigny in Burgundy. This subject is intimately linked to the history of the site, which will house a new contemporary art centre in the coming years. The first edition is open to sculptures and installations designed to be placed outdoors.
The winning works will form an initial art trail in the gardens of the Abbaye de Pontigny, running in parallel to the construction phase of the Domaine des Arts et de la Terre (2026-2028).
