About the Exhibition
Fragments of Not Knowing is a group exhibition exploring ambiguity, chaos (Khaos), and unstable perception as fundamental conditions of contemporary experience.
The exhibition invites works that resist clarity and fixed interpretation, embracing fragmentation, uncertainty, and perceptual slippage. Chaos is approached not as disorder, but as a generative state — a space where meaning, form, and narrative emerge only temporarily and remain unresolved.
Rather than offering explanations, Fragments of Not Knowing creates an immersive environment where visitors are encouraged to stay with uncertainty and experience perception as something fluid, layered, and incomplete.
DISCIPLINES INCLUDE (but not limited to):
Video art & moving image
Visual & digital art
Light art
Multimedia and immersive installations
Sound and sonic art
Photography
Performing art (including time-based and site-responsive practices)
Hybrid and cross-disciplinary works are especially welcome.
Who Can Apply
This open call is exclusively for Berlin-based artists:
Emerging and established practitioners
Individual artists and collectives
Artists working across experimental and interdisciplinary practices
